This bill includes
ongoing General Fund appropriations of $1,000,000 per year beginning in
fiscal year 2017-18 to a newly created Maine Mental Health Providers Loan
Repayment Fund within the Finance Authority of Maine as part of a new Maine
Mental Health Providers Loan Repayment Program established to provide up to 3
qualified applicants with $5,000 per year for a period of 5 years to assist
the applicant in the repayment of student loans. |
