This bill
requires local school administrative units (SAU's) to provide a youth mental
health first aid training program for its health educators and educators
providing health instruction in middle schools and high schools and specifies
that the training be provided only if funding is received by the SAU
specifically for this purpose from federal funds, private funds or other
funding sources or if the SAU has access to free training that meets national
standards. |
