|
This bill
transfers the Special Advocate position from the Department of Secretary of
State to the Department of Economic and Community Development. The Department of Secretary of State will
require a General Fund deappropriation of $64,849 and a Highway Fund
deallocation of $68,322 in fiscal year 2018-19. The Office of Business
Development within the Department of Economic and Community Development will
require a General Fund appropriation of $104,384 in fiscal year 2018-19 for
one Public Service Manager I position to serve as the small business Special
Advocate. |

Overall,
transferring this position will result in a net General Fund cost of $39,535
in fiscal year 2018-19 and a Highway Fund savings of $68,322 in fiscal year
2018-19. This assumes an August 1, 2018 effective date. |
