|
|
Removing the
requirements regarding the inquiry and consideration of criminal history
information of job applicants from school administrative units,
municipalities and counties eliminates the unfunded state mandate. The
requirements still apply to state government. |

This amendment
also reduces by $263,568, from $398,952 to $135,384, the one-time
appropriation in fiscal year 2018-19 to the Department of Administrative and
Financial Services for the information technology and related costs of
implementing the bill's requirements regarding the criminal history
information of job applicants. This reduction reflects a revised estimate of
the cost of implementing those requirements. |
