|
The Maine Labor
Relations Board has indicated that it will requires a one-time General Fund
appropriation of $4,000 in fiscal year 2017-18 for the costs associated with
the rulemaking process. Of this
amount, $1,750 is for the per diem for board members and $2,250 is for
printing and publication of notices and other related expenses. |

The Maine Labor
Relations Board has also indicated that it may require additional General
Fund appropriations for staff and other technical resources prior to
implementing the recertification elections.
The amount can not be estimated at this time and will depend on the
methods and procedures for conducting the elections adopted by the board
during the rulemaking process. |
