The additional workload associated with the minimal number of new cases
filed in the court system does not require additional funding at this
time.

The bill includes
a one-time allocation to the Maine Health Data Organization of $100,000 to
collect and present certain data to the legislature and to develop a plan for
further data collection. The Maine Health Data Organization has sufficient
resources available to fund the allocation. |

Additional costs
to the Department of the Attorney General are expected to be minor and can be
absorbed within existing budgeted resources. |
