This bill
includes a one-time General Fund appropriation of $500,000 in fiscal year
2017-18 to the Maine State Housing Authority (MSHA) to provide grants and
loans to eligible households for treatment of contaminated private drinking
water wells. |
|
The provision in
this bill that allows MSHA to utilize 15% of the total funds provided to
administer the program is expected to be sufficient to cover the
administrative costs to MSHA. |
