The Educational
Opportunity Tax Credit Marketing program within the Finance Authority of
Maine will require ongoing General Fund appropriations totaling $100,000 per
year beginning in fiscal year 2017-18 to support the Job Creation Through
Educational Opportunity Program. Of
this amount, $70,000 per year is provided for one liaison position to assist
Maine residents with issues associated with participating in the
program. The remaining $30,000 per
year is for increasing the funding for the marketing of the program from
$20,000 per year to $50,000 per year. |
