|
This amendment
adds an exception to raising the legal age to purchase cigarettes and tobacco
products from 18 to 21 for individuals who are 18 years old as of July 1,
2018. The incremental impact compared
to committee amendment A is to increase General Fund revenue by $3,587,017 in
fiscal year 2017-18 and by $4,594,128 in fiscal year 2018-19 and to increase
Local Government Fund revenue by $6,616 in fiscal year 2017-18 and by $8,546
in fiscal year 2018-19. |

As amended, the
bill would have no revenue loss in fiscal year 2017-18, a loss of General
Fund revenue of $106,075 in fiscal year 2018-19 and a loss of Local
Government Fund revenue of $111 in fiscal year 2018-19. |
