This amendment
reduces the one-time General Fund appropriation in the bill of $62,914 by
$28,826 in fiscal year 2017-18 by specifying that traffic-safety education
must be provided for at least 4 different grade levels between grade 4 and
grade 12 instead of kindergarten to grade 12.
This amendment does not remove the potential state mandate from the
bill. |
|
As amended, this
bill includes a one-time General Fund appropriation of $34,088 in fiscal year
2017-18 to the Learning Systems program within the Department of Education
for 90% of the cost to school administrative units to implement and annually
provide age-appropriate traffic safety education to students in at least 4
different grade levels between grade 4 and grade 12. |
