This bill requires
that candidates using Maine Clean Election Act Funds must give purchasing
preference to campaign services from a business located in Maine before using
an out of state service vendor. Any additional costs to the Commission on
Governmental Ethics and Election Practices are anticipated to be minor and
can be absorbed within existing budgeted resources. |
