The bill includes
General Fund appropriations to the Department of Health and Human Services of
$90,000 beginning in fiscal year 2017-18 to establish a grant program to
encourage living kidney donation. This funding will provide $75,000 for
living kidney donation grants of up to $5,000 to individuals and $15,000 to
contract for an entity to administer and provide education about the living
kidney donor grant program. |
