Fiscal Detail and Notes
This bill requires the Maine Turnpike Authority (MTA) to construct a connector from South Gorham to an interchange on the Maine Turnpike after completing an evaluation of reasonable alternatives.  The MTA would incur costs to plan, design and construct this project.  The bill allows the MTA to issue bonds in an amount not to exceed $150,000,000 for these costs.  The bonds would be paid off from tolls levied by the MTA.
