The bill includes
General Fund appropriations to the Department of Health and Human Services of
$3,840,790 in fiscal year 2018-19 to establish 79 Eligibility Specialist
positions, 8 Family Independence Unit Supervisor positions and 16 Office
Assistant II positions to handle increased workload due to the expansion of
eligibility in MaineCare and one-time funding for technology updates and
testing for the Maine Integrated Health Management System. Federal
Expenditures Fund allocations are also included for the FMAP match. |
