The bill includes
General Fund appropriations to the Department of Health and Human Services of
$73,600 in fiscal year 2017-18 and $75,841 in fiscal year 2018-19 for one
Office Associate II position to handle the additional work required to add
the 200 existing pharmacists to the Maine Immunization Program (MIP).
Additionally, there is one Comprehensive Health Planner I position which
starts after the current biennium. The MIP grant is a federal grant. However,
it would not be able to support the additional positions that are required. |
