Fiscal Detail and Notes
The bill includes General Fund appropriations to the Department of Health and Human Services of $392,317 in fiscal year 2017-18 and $403,970 in fiscal year 2018-19 for 3 limited-period positions and 3.5 on-going positions, 1.5 of which start after the biennium, to handle the additional work required to add the 200 existing pharmacists to the Maine Immunization Program (MIP). The MIP grant is a federal grant. However, it would not be able to support the additional positions that are required.
