Fiscal Detail
and Notes |
The bill includes
General Fund appropriations to the Department of Health and Human Services of
$7,500 in fiscal year 2017-18 and $192,500 in fiscal year 2018-19 for
statewide coordination of substance use disorder education, advocacy,
prevention, treatment, and peer recovery and funding for an annual conference
regarding substance use disorder prevention, treatment and recovery, which
will offer continuing education units. The General Fund appropriation is
offset only in fiscal years 2017-18 and 2018-19 by tranfers from the Medical
Use of Marijuana Fund to the unappropriated surplus of the General Fund,
leading to zero net General Fund cost in the current biennium. |
