Fiscal Detail
and Notes |
The Department of
Health and Human Services will require General Fund appropriations of
$629,399 in fiscal year 2017-18 and $839,198 in fiscal year 2018-19 for all
chiropractic services that are approved by the Board of Chiropractic
Licensure and performed by a chiropractic doctor to be reimbursed under the
MaineCare program. Per 42 CFR 440.60, the Medicaid program will only
reimburse for spinal manipulation and therefore, all other chiropractic
services would have to be funded through the General Fund only. |
