The bill includes
allocations to the Department of Health and Human Services of $67,170 in
fiscal year 2017-18 and $134,340 in fiscal year 2018-19 to add to the newborn
screening program the lysosomal storage disorder known as Krabbe disease.
Current newborn screening fees would be increased from $110 to $120 per baby
in order to cover these additional costs. |
