This bill
includes a one-time General Fund appropriation of $630,000 to the Maine
School and Library Network (MSLN) program within the Maine State Library to
support the MSLN in fiscal year 2017-18. |

Additional costs
to the Maine State Library, the Public Utilities Commission and the Office of
the Public Advocate to convene a stakeholder group to look at alternatives to
funding the MSLN and to submit the required report can be absorbed within
existing resources. |
