Amend the amendment in the first paragraph after the title in the first 2 lines (page 1, lines 11 and 12 in amendment) by striking out the following: "subsections 3 and 4 (page 1, lines 20 to 27 in L.D.)" and inserting the following: 'subsection 4 (page 1, lines 25 to 27 in L.D.)'

SUMMARY

Committee Amendment "A" removes a portion of the bill that makes it a Class A crime to knowingly transport a female individual under 18 years of age outside of this State for purposes of female genital mutilation. This amendment restores that provision.
