Amend the resolve by striking out the title and substituting the following:
‘Resolve, Authorizing the Commissioner of Administrative and Financial Services To Sell, Lease or Convey the Interests of the State in Certain Real Property Located in Augusta, Bucksport, Limestone, Brookton Township and Rockwood Strip Township’
Amend the resolve in Part A in section 2 by striking out all of subsection 5 (page 2, lines 1 to 9 in L.D.).
Amend the resolve in Part A in section 2 in subsection 6 in the last line (page 2, line 13 in L.D.) by striking out the following: "345;" and inserting the following: '345; and'
Amend the resolve in Part A in section 2 in subsection 7 in the last line (page 2, line 18 in L.D.) by striking out the following: "and" and inserting the following: 'and be it further'
Amend the resolve in Part A in section 2 by striking out all of subsection 8 (page 2, lines 19 to 23 in L.D.).
Amend the resolve in Part A in section 2 by renumbering the subsections to read consecutively.
Amend the resolve in Part A in section 6 by striking out all of subsection 5 (page 3, lines 18 to 22 in L.D.).
Amend the resolve in Part A in section 6 in subsection 6 in the last line (page 3, line 28 in L.D.) by striking out the following: "Mathematics;" and inserting the following: 'Mathematics; and'
Amend the resolve in Part A in section 6 in subsection 7 in the last line (page 3, line 33 in L.D) by striking out the following: "improvements; and" and inserting the following: 'improvements; and be it further'
Amend the resolve in Part A in section 6 by striking out all of subsection 8 (page 3, lines 34 to 38 in L.D.).
Amend the resolve in Part A in section 6 by renumbering the subsections to read consecutively.
Amend the resolve in Part B in section 2 in subsection 2 in the 2nd line (page 4, line 29 in L.D.) by inserting after the following: "acre," the following: 'to be'
Amend the resolve in Part B in section 2 in subsection 2 in the 3rd line (page 4, line 30 in L.D.) by inserting after the following: "State" the following: 'from Somerset County, and an additional parcel of land in Rockwood Strip, T1 R1 BNKP, of approximately 6.35 acres conveyed to the State, for a total of 6.71 acres'
SUMMARY
This amendment removes the authority granted in the resolve to the Commissioner of Administrative and Financial Services to sell or lease state property in Bangor and in Penobscot County Unorganized Territory. The amendment also adds language to the resolve regarding the property authorized to be sold or leased in Rockwood Strip Township to include a parcel of land of approximately 6.35 acres in addition to the parcel of 0.36 acre specified in the resolve.
