Amend the bill by striking out all of section 3.

Amend the bill by striking out all of section 4 and inserting the following:

Sec. 4. MaineCare reimbursement rates for outpatient opioid treatment. The Department of Health and Human Services shall amend its rule Chapter 101: MaineCare Benefits Manual, Chapter III, Section 65, Behavioral Health Services regarding the reimbursement rate paid to outpatient opioid treatment providers to increase the rate from $60 to $72 a week.’

Amend the bill by inserting after section 6 the following:

Sec. 7. Appropriations and allocations. The following appropriations and allocations are made.

This amendment removes the section from the bill that relates to pharmacy oversight. It changes the increase in reimbursement in the bill for methadone providers from $80 to $72 a week. It removes the language that gives the Department of Health and Human Services the authority to increase reimbursement by rulemaking.
