Amend the bill in section 5 in §12602 in subsection 2 in the last line (page 3, line 36 in L.D.) by striking out the following: " and" and inserting the following: ' or'

Amend the bill in section 5 in §12602 by striking out all of subsection 3 (page 3, lines 37 to 39 in L.D.) and inserting the following:

‘ 3. Alter fish from their natural state prior to measuring for bag limit. When rules adopted by the commissioner limit the volume of fish that may be taken, alter those fish from or possess fish altered from their natural state prior to their being measured for compliance with the volume limit.’

summary

This amendment clarifies that fish may not be altered from their natural state before being measured for compliance with a volume limit established by rule by the Commissioner of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife.
