Amend the bill in section 1 in subsection 3 in the 4th line (page 1, line 7 in L.D.) by inserting after the following: " appointed" the following: ' , except that, if the member has not been reappointed or a successor has not been appointed one year after the member's term expires, the member may no longer continue to serve'
