‘ 3. State government employer. "State government employer" means a department or office in the executive branch, an independent or quasi-independent state entity, a public instrumentality of the State, the Legislature or the judicial branch. "State government employer" does not include a school administrative unit, municipality, county or other political subdivision of the State.’

SUMMARY
This amendment applies the requirements in the committee amendment only to state government employers. It removes school administrative units, municipalities, counties and other political subdivisions of the State from the requirements in the committee amendment. The amendment also reduces the appropriation in the committee amendment to reflect a revised cost estimate.
