Amend the resolve by striking out the title and substituting the following:
‘Resolve, To Establish a Working Group To Study the Needs, Opportunities and Efficiencies Associated with the Production of Salmonid Sport Fish in Maine’
Amend the resolve by striking out everything after the title and before the summary and inserting the following:
‘Sec. 1. Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife to convene working group. Resolved: That the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife shall convene a working group of interested stakeholders to study, assess and evaluate salmonid fish culture facilities in the State and the associated production and distribution capabilities, opportunities, needs and contributions to the economy of the State of cultured salmonid fish and propose changes to the fish production laws and rules based on its findings; and be it further
Sec. 2. Report. Resolved: That, by December 6, 2017, the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife shall submit a report on the working group's proposed changes under section 1 to the Joint Standing Committee on Inland Fisheries and Wildlife. The joint standing committee may report out a bill concerning the report to the Second Regular Session of the 128th Legislature.’

This amendment is a minority report of the committee.
