An Act To Require Horse-drawn Carriages and Wagons To Be Equipped with Reflectors
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 29-A MRSA §1907, as enacted by PL 1993, c. 683, Pt. A, §2 and affected by Pt. B, §5, is amended by adding at the end a new paragraph to read:
A vehicle propelled or drawn by a horse during nighttime must be equipped with a reflector that is a 12-inch-high orange triangle with a 1 3/4-inch red border. The reflector must be displayed 2 to 6 feet off the ground and must cover an area of at least 72 square inches.
