An Act To Create a Centralized Authority To Combat Opiate Addiction in Maine
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 22 MRSA c. 1605 is enacted to read:

COORDINATION IN COMBATING OPIATE ADDICTION
§ 7281. Office established
There is established within the department an office to coordinate the efforts of law enforcement, health care and treatment programs and education initiatives to combat addiction to opiates as defined in Title 17-A, section 1101, subsection 7.
