The bill includes a
General Fund appropriation to the Department of Health and Human Services of
$23,772 in fiscal year 2016-17 to reimburse hospitals other than critical
access hospitals for MaineCare eligible individuals in the care of hospitals
while awaiting placement in nursing facilities. Federal Expenditures Fund
allocations are also included for the FMAP match. |
