|
Under current
law, the Maine Clean Election Fund within the Commission on Governmental
Ethics and Election Practices will receive General Fund transfers of
$3,000,000 in both fiscal year 2015-16 and in fiscal year 2016-17. This bill
directs $2,500,000 of the General Fund transfer in fiscal year 2016-17 to
instead be made in fiscal year 2015-16. If any of the $2,500,000 is to be
expended in fiscal year 2015-16, additional allocation in fiscal year 2015-16
can be acquired through financial order. |
