This amendment
has no net effect on the General Fund cost of the bill. It replaces the
transfer of funds to the unappropriated surplus of the General Fund from the
Department of the Attorney General settlement funds with a transfer from the
Department of Health and Human Services Medical Use of Marijuana Fund. It
also changes Part B of the majority committee amendment to appropriate the
funds to the Department of Public Safety rather than the Department of the
Attorney General. |
