|
The bill includes
an Other Special Revenue Funds allocation to the Legislature of $3,750 in
fiscal year 2015-16 for the one-time costs of the per diem for 7 Legislators
and expenses of the Task Force to Study College Attainment and Degree
Completion Goals. The bill requires the task force seek outside funding to
fully fund all costs of the task force and prohibits the task force from
meeting or incurring expenses if sufficient funding has not been received
within 30 days of the effective date of the bill. |

Additional costs
to the Finance Authority of Maine, the University of Maine System, the Maine
Community College System, Maine Maritime Academy, the Department of
Education, the Department of Economic and Community Development and the
Department of Labor to implement the requirements of this legislation can be
absorbed within existing budgeted resources. |
