This amendment
removes the $500,000 General Fund appropriation from the committee amendment. |

This bill, as
amended, will result in the loss of tuition revenue to the University of
Maine System, the Maine Community College System and Maine Maritime Academy
due to the required tuition waiver.
The impact to the individual institutions can not be determined at
this time. |
