The bill requires
the Maine Health Data Organization (MHDO) to provide data at no cost to
certain health care entities or individuals. Currently, MHDO has the
authority to charge a fee for this data, which is one of the ways it
generates revenue. No information is available regarding the amount of
revenue being collected from the entities which are most likely to be exempt
from fees under this bill and, therefore, an estimate of revenue loss is not
made at this time. |
