|
Any additional
costs to the Department of Marine Resources (DMR) from requiring the
department to deliver notice by mail or by hand to individuals failing to
comply with certain reporting requirements are expected to be minor and can
be absorbed within existing budgeted resources. The bill also allows DMR to
sell and market general merchandise products and use the proceeds to increase
public awareness of the Bureau of Marine Patrol and recruit marine patrol
officers. Any additional revenue to DMR is expected to be minor. |
