|
The bill creates
a gun violence restraining order. The
Department of Public Safety would require a General Fund appropriation of
$39,000 in fiscal year 2015-16 and $6,500 in 2016-17 and a Highway Fund
allocation of $21,000 in fiscal year 2015-16 and $3,500 in 2016-17 to create
and maintain a computer database for gun violence restraining orders. The Judicial Department will require a
General Fund appropriation of $455,023 in fiscal year 2015-16 and $296,997 in
fiscal year 2016-17 for additional staff and technology costs as a result of
creating the gun violence restraining order. |
