This bill
includes Other Funds allocations of $99,861 in fiscal year 2015-16 and
$292,196 in fiscal year 2016-17 to the Competitive Skills Scholarship Program
within the Department of Labor for one CareerCenter Consultant position in
fiscal year 2015-16 and an additional CareerCenter Consultant position in
fiscal year 2016-17 and related all other costs, including tuition, to
support the expansion of the Competitive Skills Scholarship Program to
eligible secondary students in public secondary schools. |

This legislation
caps annual expenditures, including tuition, administrative and other
allowable costs and case management related to this provision at no more than
15% of the annual revenue deposited into the Competitive Skills Scholarship
Fund. Had this legislation been in
place during fiscal year 2013-14 the cap on expenditures would have been
approximately $500,000. |
