This amendment
permits instead of requires the Department of Education to collect and
aggregate data regarding the issuance of certificates of content area
proficiency. The Department of
Education has indicated that, to the extent that the data can be collected
and aggregated as part of the existing duties of its staff, no General Fund
appropriations are needed. |
