Fiscal Detail and Notes
The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) will require a one-time General Fund appropriation of $22,469 in fiscal year 2015-16 for the Office of Information Technology to make the necessary system changes that would allow additional providers to bill for certain services. Federal Expenditures Fund allocations will also be required for the FMAP match. DHHS does not anticipate any increase in the number of services provided. MaineCare members are currently receiving these services; they are simply provided by an enrolled physician.
