Fiscal Detail and Notes
	Increasing the minium grant award from the Maine State Grant Program administered by the Finance Authority of Maine from no less than $1,000 to no less than $2,500 for first year students, with the minimum amount increasing by $1,000 for each consecutive year until students reach their 4th year, for those eligible students with no expected family contributions beginning with the 2016-2017 academic year will result in fewer grants being awarded at higher amounts than without this bill.
