|
This bill
provides for a donation to the newly created Veterans Count Maine Donation
Fund when applying for a driver's license or renewal. The Department of Secretary of State will
require a one-time Highway Fund allocation of $15,810 in fiscal year 2015-16
for computer programming changes to the driver license system to create the
donation checkoff. The department will also require a base Other Special
Revenue Funds allocation of $500 to establish the new fund beginning in
fiscal year 2015-16 and to allow any donations to be spent. |
