This bill will
require the Division of Licensing and Regulatory Services in the Department
of Health and Human Services to license additional short-term lodging
establishments that have fewer than 4 beds. There will be additional revenue
from issuing the new licenses. If necessary, the license fees for lodging can
be increased and still be within the current statuatory cap of $300. This
fiscal note assumes that the increased revenue from licenses will offset the
costs of issuing them. |
