According to the
Department of Labor, the Regulation and Enforcement program within the
Department of Labor will require General Fund appropriations of $25,439 in
fiscal year and $33,919 in fiscal year 2016-17 for the costs associated with
the increased enforcement activities required under this legislation. Because this legislation requires the
department to perform these additional activities within existing budgeted
resources, this preliminary fiscal impact statement does not specifically
reflect General Fund appropriations or General Fund costs in each fiscal
year. However, the department has
indicated that it will not be able to implement the requirements of this bill
within existing resouces without impacting other enforcement activities
currently being performed. |
