The bill includes
a Highway Fund allocation of $4,000 to the Department of Secretary of State
in fiscal year 2015-16 for materials to manufacture 1,800 special
commemorative license plates celebrating the United States Navy Reserve
centennial. The bill is emergency
legislation, so if the intent is to manufacture and sell the plates when the
legislation is enacted, it should be amended to move the allocation to fiscal
year 2014-15. |

Sales of these
plates will increase Highway Fund revenue by $9,000 in fiscal year 2015-16
and Other Special Revenue Funds revenue to the Department of Defense,
Veterans and Emergency Management by $18,000 in fiscal year 2015-16. |
