Fiscal Detail and Notes
This bill includes a General Fund appropriation of $113,420 in fiscal year 2015-16 and $80,854 in fiscal year 2016-17  to the Department of Administrative and Financial Services for two positions and related costs to establish a preapproved subcontractor list.  The Department of Administrative Services will also require additional funding for software and database development.
Requiring the use of preapproved subcontractors for major State and local school construction projects may result in increased costs to the State and local school administrative units.  These costs cannot be estimated at this time.
