This amendment
eliminates the ongoing General Fund appropriations of $250,000 per year
beginning in fiscal year 2015-16 to Jobs for Maine's Graduates to support
college retention efforts for eligible students. The funding for this purpose is already
included in Public Law 2015, chapter 267, the 2016-2017 biennial budget, as
part of the miscellaneous costs within the General Purpose Aid for Local
Schools program, Department of Education. |
