This amendment
reverses all fiscal impacts of the bill as amended by committee A. It
eliminates the 50% dedication of the sales tax on consumer fireworks,
increasing General Fund revenue by $109,250 in fiscal years 2015-16 and
2016-17. It also restores transfers to
Municipal Revenue Sharing by $5,750 in both fiscal years 2015-16 and
2016-17. All allocations are removed.
As amended here, the bill does not contain any funding to support the
establishment of the Maine Length of Service Award Program and the mandated
activities are still in place. |
