Fiscal Detail and Notes
	Limiting the amount of General Fund appropriations to the University of Maine System that can be used for non-instructional purposes may result in reduced levels of non-instructional programs and services being provided or an increase in tuition and fees in order to maintain the level of non-instructional programs and services being offered in the future.
	Additional costs to the University of Maine System to track the incremental appropriations separately in order to allocate the funds for instructional purposes only and to prepare the required annual report is expected to be minimal and can be absorbed within the System's existing budgeted resources.
