The bill requires
the Commission on Governmental Ethics and Election Practices to provide
certain campaign finance information for legislative elections on a publicly
accessible website. The commission currently has a publicly accessible
website allowing users to view contribution, expenditure and loan data and
has already developed the ability for users to view and download the
information required to be provided under this bill. This feature will be
publicly accessible in spring 2015 and has already been paid for under an
existing contract with Quest Information Systems. |
